Heat Trace Ltd wins Cheshire Business Exporter of the Year

At the recent High Sheriff’s Award for Enterprise 2017/18, Heat Trace Limited were delighted to win Cheshire Business Exporter of the Year. Emilia Hoyle (Marketing Assistant) received Outstanding Apprentice in the Best Apprentice category.

Dan Berrisford (Managing Director), Michael Dicker (Marketing & Special Projects Manager) & Emilia Hoyle (Marketing Assistant) attended the High Sheriff’s Awards for Enterprise at Chester Racecourse on Thursday 22nd March 2018.

Heat Trace Limited (HTL) is an innovative British manufacturer of electric heat tracing cables and associated equipment. 90% of products are exported and HTL invest heavily in Research & Development, ensuring that they are world leaders in the products and services.

HTL have always been an exporting business and supply products to all continents. Through their international network of distributors and affiliates they are represented in over 50 countries around the world - a truly global company.

In recent years, HTL have adopted a more ambitious export strategy that has won them lucrative contracts in many countries around the world with some individual project worth several millions US dollars. As a result, HTL’s turnover increased in 2017 by 78% on the previous year. This was almost
entirely driven by exports and it provides more security for employees.

Dan Berrisford said, “Having won in the Best Company award in the Apprentice category last year, it is great to win this year for export achievement. It confirms that we are excelling in different areas of our business. The High Sheriff’s Awards are especially prestigious and to win any category is a welldeserved recognition for the hard work of all our staff.”
