Industrial Self-Regulating Heating Cables
Heat Trace designs and manufactures industrial self-regulating heating cables engineered to meet the rigorous demands of heavy-duty and process-critical applications. While commercial systems often prioritise simplicity and cost-efficiency, industrial environments require higher levels of performance, durability, and operational reliability — particularly where processes must be maintained consistently and safely under challenging conditions.
To meet these requirements, Heat Trace offers a range of industrial self-regulating cables designed for applications where enhanced power output, thermal stability, and resistance to environmental factors are essential. These cables are built to perform in demanding settings such as manufacturing plants, energy facilities, and process industries, providing dependable operation where failure or inconsistency is not an option.

What is Trace Heating?
Trace heating uses electric heating cables, known as trace heating cables, fitted along pipes, tanks, valves and vessels to stop them freezing or to hold a product at a set temperature. Self-regulating trace heating cable adjusts its own heat output as the pipe warms or cools, so it is inherently temperature safe and needs no separate control along each run.

Temperature-Safe Trace Heating
Self-regulating trace heating cable automatically adjusts its heat output in response to changes in pipe temperature. As the pipe cools, the cable produces more heat, and as it warms, the output is reduced. This makes it inherently temperature safe, energy efficient, and highly reliable, eliminating the need for separate temperature controls along each cable run.
