INTRODUCTION |

An electric heat
tracing, or electric surface heating
(ESH) scheme, may include a number of
stages and disciplines which may include
the design of the object to be heated,
together with the heating method; the
control and monitoring systems; manufacture/supply
and installation of all components;
thermal insulation; supply and installation
power supply cabling and distribution
equipment; final commissioning and hand
over to the client.
This document details the minimum information
required in order to design the Heating
and Control systems only, in accordance
with the latest British, European and
International Standards. If the
information requested in this form is
not known, please state "NOT KNOWN";
if assumed, please state "ASSUMED".
Where the information is not applicable
to the enquiry please state "NOT
APPLICABLE". If
no specification exists for thermal
insulation, control panels, etc., state
"DESIGNER TO RECOMMEND".
